Video: Chance The Rapper Has A Youth Empowerment Charity Called Social Works

Chance the Rap­per is not only known for being an extreme­ly tal­ent­ed record­ing artist, BUT he has giv­en over a mil­lion dol­lars to the Chica­go pub­lic school sys­tem alone. Chance has used his plat­form to pos­i­tive­ly influ­ence some of the most affect­ed neigh­bor­hoods by the war on drugs in Chica­go and his youth empow­er­ment char­i­ty Social Works aims to empow­er youth through the arts, edu­ca­tion, and civic engage­ment while fos­ter­ing lead­er­ship, acces­si­bil­i­ty, and pos­i­tiv­i­ty with­in the youth through­out Chica­go.
