Ste­fani Ger­man­ot­ta, known as Lady Gaga, is a singer, song­writer and actress who has proven that she puts her heart on the line in every project.

Lady Gaga and her moth­er, Cyn­thia Ger­man­ot­ta, found­ed the Born This Way Foun­da­tion in 2012  with the goal of cre­at­ing a kinder and braver world. The non-prof­it is titled after her sec­ond stu­dio album.

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foun­da­tion aims to pro­mote tol­er­ance with­in com­mu­ni­ties by encour­ag­ing and inspir­ing younger gen­er­a­tions to build health­i­er com­mu­ni­ties.

The foun­da­tion, is seek­ing to fight bul­ly­ing and “inspire brav­ery” among young peo­ple, both online and off. Te foun­da­tion plans to accom­plish its mis­sion by build­ing an action-ori­ent­ed pro­gram and pro­vid­ing use­ful resources for teenagers and young adults. The non-prof­it will work with lead­ing and researchers to help improve and under­stand the fac­tors that affect the well­ness of  youth.

The Born This Way Foun­da­tion is also work­ing on pro­mot­ing men­tal health aware­ness, by offer­ing ser­vices that cre­ate a healthy dia­logue that sup­ports and builds com­mu­ni­ty aware­ness around the top­ic of men­tal health.
