Popfuzion TV Launches Popfuzion Live, an Uplifting Millennial Lifestyle Series Fusing Entertainment, Purpose, and Positive News Stories

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 19, 2025Popfuzion TV is excited to announce the launch of its latest original production, Popfuzion Live, a 30-minute lifestyle series that fuses pop culture with purpose. Hosted by dynamic media talents Francesca Ellana and Rochelle Amber, the show is committed to spotlighting impactful stories, emerging voices, and community changemakers with style, heart, and substance; an extension of Popfuzion TV.

Produced in partnership with I Ain’t No Herb Jackson Studios, this season marks a full-circle moment for Executive Producer Herb Jackson Jr., who got his start with Popfuzion years ago. Reflecting on his return, Jackson shared:

“I received some of my earliest training through the Popfuzion family, which significantly influenced my beginnings. They gave me the opportunity to host a segment and encouraged me to create my own content,” he said. “Now, years later, I am thrilled to have the chance to collaborate with them once again. I am incredibly excited to join Popfuzion Live as an Executive Producer.”

Jackson believes the show couldn’t have come at a better time, given the current media climate:

“In today’s digital landscape, we often encounter harmful content on news feeds and social media platforms. The phrase ‘If it bleeds, it leads’ holds a lot of truth,” he explained. “Such content is designed to provoke emotional responses, leading to division and hatred. I find this approach unappealing and prefer to hear about the positive things people are doing. Popfuzion Live addresses this issue by focusing on uplifting and positive stories.”

Co-host Rochelle Amber echoed the show’s heartfelt mission, sharing her enthusiasm for the energy and impact of the project:

Popfuzion Live is refreshing, uplifting, and informative—all at once,” she said. “It’s just what the world needs more of.”

Francesca Ellana, co-creator of Popfuzion TV and host of Popfuzion Live, shared the heart behind the show’s creation:

“I created Popfuzion Live because I wanted to keep people informed about what’s happening in entertainment—while also giving them a chance to see a different, more personal side of their favorite celebrities,” said Ellana. “The show blends pop culture with purpose, featuring conversations not only with stars but also with nonprofits and everyday changemakers who are making a real impact in their communities.”

One of the key architects behind Popfuzion’s original concept, Kareem “KT Holla” Tucker, helped shape the platform’s vision from the ground up alongside Ellana. He shared his thoughts on why this content resonates deeply with today’s audience:

“I believed in the vision for Popfuzion TV because it was all about uplifting underrepresented voices and creating a platform that merges purpose with entertainment. I wanted to use my skills to help bring that vision to life,” he said.
“This type of news is important for millennials because we’re looking for more than just headlines—we want purpose, representation, and authenticity,” he added. “Popfuzion TV bridges the gap between entertainment and impact, and that’s the kind of content our generation connects with.”

Gina Tucker, another early contributor to the platform’s foundation, recalled her first impression:

“When I first connected with Francesca and heard her vision for Popfuzion TV, it was clear—this wasn’t just another entertainment platform,” she said. “She wanted to spotlight stories that mattered: emerging talent, community changemakers, and voices often overlooked by mainstream media. I knew I had to be a part of that.”

She emphasized the show’s relevance in today’s cultural climate:

“In today’s world, especially for millennials, we’re surrounded by a constant stream of negativity and divisiveness,” Gina continued. “But Popfuzion brings something different to the table—it fuses pop culture with purpose. It reminds us that media can uplift, inspire, and actually make a difference. And that kind of news? That’s exactly what this generation is craving.”

A fan-favorite segment of the new series is Popfuzion Rewind, a Throwback Thursday special that revisits the golden era of television. The segment features exclusive interviews with stars from iconic ’90s sitcoms, offering nostalgic reflections, behind-the-scenes stories, and updates on where those beloved actors are now. Whether it’s revisiting classic episodes or learning how these actors are continuing to make an impact today, Popfuzion Rewind is a celebration of television history with a purpose-driven twist.

The first season of Popfuzion Live features an exciting and diverse lineup of guests including:

  • Dennis McDonald, actor from Bad Boys II and Bad Boys 4

  • Shane Dougherty, contestant on Hulu’s reality series Got to Get Out

  • Brandon D. Lamar, President of the NAACP Pasadena Branch, discussing community recovery from the Eaton Fires

  • Dan Amboyer, actor from Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest

  • Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love, sharing how pet families can reconnect with lost pets through technology

With a blend of celebrity interviews, real-world impact stories, and engaging lifestyle content, Popfuzion Live is set to become a vibrant and vital addition to today’s media landscape.

The show will premiere in June on Spectrum Channel 32 / AT&T U‑verse Channel 99 in Los Angeles and Cox / Verizon Fios / Comcast Channel 10 in Fairfax, VA, with digital streaming expansion planned later this year.

Popfuzion Live aims to entertain and educate millennials—proving that good news can still be great TV.
